Purpose & Class Sessions
The early childhood education center offers young children a Christian setting in which to develop physically, spiritually, socially, and intellectually. The Christian preschool offers children one of the best opportunities for achieving the goals of Christian education outside the home.
Dedicated and committed Christian teachers can provide young children with numerous opportunities for growth and development. Our teacher/director is a Kansas Certified teacher and will have an aide to help in the classroom. Lord's Lambs is licensed by the State of Kansas.

Objectives
Spiritual Development -- The program is designed to help the child know God as Father, Jesus as personal Savior, and the Holy Spirit as helper and friend. Above all, our purpose is to help the child see God's love and care in as many experiences as possible.
Self-Direction -- Activities and classroom management will promote listening and speaking, self-discipline and decision-making, self-help skills, creative self-expression, and independent work and play.
Interaction Skills -- The child will be encouraged to grow in self-confidence, concern for others, cooperation, and a spirit of sharing.
Language Skills -- The child's language will be expanded through religious or secular stories and poems and through real-life experiences such as field trips, objects brought to school, cooking, and other activities and experiences that build vocabulary and stimulate oral expression.
Intellectual Growth -- through play and teacher guided activities each child will have the opportunity for appropriate learning experiences. These will include fine motor and large motor skills, alphabet and number concepts, music, art, social studies, and science.
Parental Support -- Assistance will be available to help parents with skills which promote the growth and development of their preschool children.
